About Me
Heyo! Thank you so much for visiting my website. I'm currently a Game Designer recently hit by the ongoing layoffs in the industry. I’ve spent most of my professional life as a technical designer and the last half of 2023 as a narrative designer.
I can't really give that pitch of "I can't remember a time without a controller in my hand", but gaming is how I learned so many early life lessons. I vividly remember using Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of time to teach myself both how to read and how to generally be courageous enough to try new things.
I dabbled with music, accounting, and writing leading up to college and ended up going to an art school in Santa Fe, New Mexico to pursue a degree in Creative Writing. I spent some time doing student leadership work while continuing both gaming and writing before finally setting myself firmly on the path towards game development.
I graduated from SMU Guildhall in 2019 and managed to make it into the industry in the middle of the Covid-19 Pandemic as a technical designer.
Aside from storytelling, I particularly love problem solving. I thoroughly believe that there’s no problem that can’t be solved with a little creative thinking, a lot of elbow grease, and a smidgeon of confidence. I pride myself in my ability to adapt and overcome any problem thrown my way and ultimately making life for my fellow developers, whatever discipline they are, a little easier with my work.
