My Role
Technical Narrative Designer
On this pitch project, I mostly was responsible for faking elements of systems we wanted but couldn’t actually stand up for the project. This included creating scripted sequences to replace companion characters that were crucial to the narrative, implementing conversations with LLM’s, utilizing AI voice generation models, and a few other minor responsibilities.
The thing I’m proudest of on this project is the drafting of an entire narrative system that was akin to what can be found within Baldur’s Gate 3. While this system was eventually abandoned in favor of a resurrection of a system from a previous project, I did manage to research, prove out, and roughly implement an entire multi-use dialogue system that would have been phenomenal for the studio to use.
