  • Alias:

    • N/A

  • Age:

    • 24

  • Species:

    • Human

  • Born in:

    • Los Diablos (Las Angeles)

  • Gender:

    • Transgender Female

  • Profession:

    • Graduate Student

      • Game Development major

    • “Guy in the Chair” for Captain Ultra

  • Vocal description:

    • Phoebe has a voice that others in the trans community have described as “effortlessly feminine.” While an element of that is true, Phoebe’s voice does pass as a woman’s, she’s not entirely always comfortable with her voice, as she sounds more androgynous when she’s not feeling her best. Decidedly, though, there’s no listening to Phoebe and thinking “that’s a masculine voice”

  • Personality:

    • Phoebe has a simultaneously laidback and excitable personality. She tends to be a “go with the flow” type of person and things outside her interest might as well not exist, but if something does interest or excite her, she becomes obsessive about it. She’s fiercely loyal to her friends, Corbin and Patrick, and would drop absolutely everything to help one of her friends.

  • General Appearance

    • Phoebe has a very casual style, opting typically for jeans, nerdy tops, and her “trademark” red and black hoodie. She keeps her hair in a bob and has a single piercing on her left eyebrow. While her looks may seem effortless, she goes to great lengths to maintain her particular image.

  • Goals

    • Phoebe’s biggest goal has remained the same since her childhood. Heavily influenced by video games and their social commentary, she seeks to create a game that changes the way the world works. To that extent, she’s pursuing a graduate degree in game development at the award winning program at the University of New Amsterdam. Even after Corbin becomes Captain Ultra, more often than not she’s working on her assignments, even when she’s assisting Corbin with something.

  • Inner Conflict

    • Phoebe’s biggest worry is that she’s doing the wrong thing at almost all points in time. She started her transition while in high school, something that her family was initially okay with, but have gradually withdrawn their support, to the point of disowning her and causing her much emotional turmoil. She worries that she’s wasting her time studying game development, as the industry is moving towards another collapse similar to the one of 2025.

  • Skills

    • Computer wizardry

    • Excellent debate skills

    • Black belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu

  • Weaknesses

    • Doesn’t know how to drive

    • Has severe anxiety

  • Quirks/Habits

    • Phoebe has an obsession with slang from the 2020’s and loves getting reactions from people for using that kind of language.

    •  Phoebe has a love of emojis and text talk and uses them when she has the opportunity

    • When not excited about something, Phoebe is very closed off and lackadaisical, but whenever she’s excited about something it’s all she can focus on and usually causes her to bounce in place.

  • Quick Bio

    • Born as Felix Lemming to Danielle and Brandon Lemming in Los Diablos, California, Phoebe dove into video games as soon as her gamer parents let her. She learned most of her life lessons playing retro games from her parents’ childhoods and was generally an outwardly happy kid. However, she struggled with gender dysphoria from an early age and didn’t feel comfortable with herself enough to come out until her sophomore year of high school. Her coming out tore her nuclear family apart, her father disowned her and divorced his wife for supporting her. This led to Phoebe and Danielle moving from Los Diablos to New Amsterdam City, where she happened to enroll for her junior year of high school at the same school that a certain Corbin White started attending for his freshman year. The two met in a speech class and became fast friends after Corbin stood up for her when she started getting bullied for being both trans and new to the city. Still stuck on her childhood dream of making influential games, she ended up going to the University of New Amsterdam for computer science for her undergraduate. Over the course of her four year bachelor’s degree, Phoebe’s relationship with her mom deteriorated, to the point that her mother disowned her and moved back to Los Diablos to be with Brandon again. Now alone save for her friends Corbin White and Patrick Brian Jenkins, Phoebe doubled down on her dreams of game development and got into NAU’s game development graduate program, where she excelled and is set to graduate with flying colors.
